Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Petiverse Limited. The Terms govern all use of our Services, whether you access it from our website at https://www.cyprusdogwalking.com (including any subdomain or localized version), mobile applications and mobile websites, our social media platforms, our online or phone support, or any other access points we make available to you. By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform in any way, including but not limited to viewing service listings, contacting Providers, or making a booking — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, whether or not you create an account. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform or any of its Services.

About the Platform

cyprusdogwalking.com is an online platform owned and operated by PETIVERSE LIMITED. It serves as a digital marketplace connecting pet owners (“Clients”) with independent service providers (“Providers”) who offer pet care services such as dog walking, pet sitting, pet boarding, dog day-care, and dog training (“Services”). PETIVERSE LIMITED does not employ Providers and is not responsible for the conduct, performance, or quality of services rendered by Providers. Each Provider is solely responsible for the services they offer, and all agreements and interactions for services are strictly between the Provider and the Client.

Eligibility to Use the Platform
To register and use the Platform as a Client, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You agree to keep your contact information and pet profiles updated and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. PETIVERSE LIMITED reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information or violates these Terms.

Account Registration and Security
By creating an account, you agree to be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify PETIVERSE LIMITED immediately of any unauthorized use or suspected breach of security. You agree that any information you provide, including pet profiles, service requests, and communications with Providers, will be truthful and lawful.

Nature of Relationship

All Providers listed on the Platform operate as independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of PETIVERSE LIMITED. PETIVERSE LIMITED does not control how Providers deliver their services. While the Company may conduct basic screening checks (such as identity verification or public profile reviews), these are limited in scope and do not constitute guarantees of reliability, competence, licensing, or suitability for your specific needs. PETIVERSE LIMITED makes no warranties regarding the quality, availability, or conduct of any Provider.

In the event a booked Provider becomes unavailable, PETIVERSE LIMITED may, at its discretion, suggest an alternative Provider. However, we do not guarantee the availability, quality, or compatibility of any suggested replacement, and all responsibility for evaluating, accepting, and coordinating with the replacement Provider rests solely with the Client. PETIVERSE LIMITED assumes no liability for the outcome of any services provided by any Provider, whether initially chosen by the Client or suggested as an alternative by the Company.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
All bookings made through the Platform are confirmed only upon full prepayment. By booking services on the Platform, the Client agrees to the following cancellation and refund terms:

Booking Policy:

All service bookings must be completed and prepaid through the Platform. Providers set their own prices, availability, and service offerings. PETIVERSE LIMITED collects payments on behalf of Providers and deducts a service fee before transferring the remaining balance to the Provider. Clients may not attempt to arrange payments or services outside of the Platform. Doing so is a violation of these Terms and may result in the suspension of your account.

Cancellation Policy:
If a booking is cancelled more than 7 calendar days before the scheduled start of service, the Client is entitled to a full refund, excluding any non-refundable platform service fees.
If a cancellation is made up to 3 days prior to the start of service or after the meet-and-greet consultation has occurred (whichever comes first), the Client is eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 3 days before the start of service are non-refundable.
No-shows, where the Client fails to deliver the pet or is unavailable at the scheduled time, will result in a 100% cancellation fee, with no refund issued.

Consultation Policy:
Each booking requires a meet-and-greet consultation between the Client and Provider. If, during this consultation, the Provider determines that the pet is not a good fit for the services offered due to safety, behavioural, or other concerns, they may refuse the service at their sole discretion. In such cases, the Client will receive a full refund of the booking total, excluding the platform’s service fee, which remains non-refundable.

Emergency Exceptions:
In rare cases of verifiable emergencies (e.g., medical, family, or other significant unexpected circumstances), PETIVERSE LIMITED may, at its sole discretion, grant a partial or full refund outside of the standard policy. Supporting documentation may be required. Emergency exceptions are not guaranteed and are assessed case-by-case.

Discretionary Refunds for Provider Non-Performance:
If PETIVERSE LIMITED, in its reasonable discretion, determines that a Provider has failed to deliver pet care services as agreed with the Client, whether through non-performance, unsafe conduct, or other violations of these Terms, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and issue a full or partial refund to the Client. Refunds granted under this clause are not automatic and will be assessed based on evidence and Provider communication.

Pet Safety and Risk Acknowledgment
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that pet care services involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, escape, or death of your pet, as well as personal injury or property damage. You are required to provide accurate and complete information about your pet’s health, temperament, and care needs during the initial consultation and throughout the booking process. You understand and agree that PETIVERSE LIMITED is not liable for any adverse incidents, damages, or outcomes related to the services provided by Providers. You assume full responsibility for your pet’s safety during service engagements.

Client Responsibilities
As a Client, you agree to provide safe and appropriate conditions for the provision of pet care services. This includes granting safe access to your home, disclosing any behavioral or medical issues, and ensuring your pets are up to date on vaccinations and fit for interaction with other people and animals. You agree to treat Providers with respect and to resolve any disputes in a fair and lawful manner. You also agree not to circumvent the Platform by attempting to book or pay Providers directly.

Abandoned Pets and Rehoming Policy
Clients are solely responsible for the timely collection of their pets following the end of any booked service. If a pet is not retrieved by the agreed-upon end time of the service, and the Client fails to communicate or arrange an extension within 24 hours, PETIVERSE LIMITED and/or the Provider may consider the pet abandoned.

In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to contact the Client using the details provided at registration. If no response is received within a further 48 hours, PETIVERSE LIMITED reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include reporting the case to local animal welfare authorities, surrendering the pet to a licensed animal shelter, or rehoming the pet through responsible channels, in accordance with Cyprus animal welfare laws.

PETIVERSE LIMITED, and the associated Provider, shall not be held liable for any emotional, financial, legal, or other consequences arising from such actions taken due to abandonment. The Client will remain liable for any unpaid fees, additional boarding or care charges, veterinary expenses, legal fees, or costs incurred as a result of the abandonment or rehoming process.

Intentional or repeated abandonment of pets may result in permanent removal from the Platform and may be reported to the appropriate legal or animal protection authorities.

Liability Disclaimer and Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PETIVERSE LIMITED is not liable for any injury, illness, death, escape, or loss involving pets, Providers, Clients, or third parties arising from the use of the Platform or services booked through it. PETIVERSE LIMITED does not provide insurance for pet care services. In any case, our total liability shall not exceed the greater of one hundred euros (€100) or the total amount you paid to PETIVERSE LIMITED in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

 

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PETIVERSE LIMITED, its directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, the services you book, your pet’s actions, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

 

Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes. You must not harass, exploit, or mislead Providers or other Clients, nor may you use false information or attempt to circumvent the Platform’s systems. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, harmful, or dishonest may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice or refund.

 

Dispute Resolution
Disputes between Clients and Providers must be resolved directly by the involved parties. While PETIVERSE LIMITED may, at its discretion, assist in informal resolution efforts, it is under no obligation to mediate disputes. Any legal disputes involving PETIVERSE LIMITED will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus.

 

Termination of Use
PETIVERSE LIMITED reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these Terms, act fraudulently, fail to comply with safety standards, or otherwise compromise the integrity of the Platform. Termination of your account does not entitle you to any refund of unused services or fees paid.

 

Modifications to Terms
We may update or revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Platform and will take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. All disputes related to the Platform, Services, or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Cyprus.
